New Day Singers

The New Day Singers are Emanuel’s contemporary music group. They are responsible for leading musical worship at the 10:30 AM service and strive to perform the most recent in Contemporary Christian Music as well as jazz, gospel, ethnic, and folk. The group offers opportunities to sing, play various percussion and woodwind instruments as well as guitar, keyboard and bass. If you are interested, please talk with our Director of Music, Woosug Kang, as we are seeking more members.

Rehearsals : Every Tuesday from 6:30-8:00 PM

Anthem Choir

The Anthem Choir provides leadership in our 8:30 AM worship service by singing an anthem every Sunday from September until Trinity Sunday. The music Anthem Choir presents vary from the Renaissance period to the 20th Century Classical music with composers ranging from Thomas Tallis to Herbert Howells and Morten Laudrisen. We are actively looking for more members to increase our strength as a group to be able to perform more challenging and beautiful music to educate and inspire our congregation during our services. If anyone is interested in joining, please talk with our Director of Music, Woosug Kang.

We are constantly looking for people who would like to join us. If you play an instrument, and would like to contribute, please let Woosug Kang know.

In order to maintain our fine musical programs, we would welcome any gifts to the Music Program at Emanuel. These gifts will enable us to hire professional musicians for festival services, maintain and enhance our instruments, and so much more. If you are interested in donating, please contact the Church Office or our Director of Music, Woosug Kang.
