Faith 5

Faith 5 is a journey - not just for the children of Emanuel, but also for the adults involved.  Emanuel’s Education Mission Team has studied and researched the model that our program currently embraces called the Workshop Rotation Model. 

Workshop Rotation teaches Bible Stories and concepts through kid friendly activities.  Workshops include Art, Drama, Storytelling, Games, Theater, Music and Cooking.  Each year we concentrate on five Bible stories and teach each one over a three to five week rotation.   Participants visit a different workshop each week with their small group and shepherd.   Typically two small groups and two shepherds travel together to each of the workshops. 

Leaders of each workshop prepare one lesson for their workshop and present it approximately four times to different groups of children during the rotation. 

The students begin in the Community Room each Sunday at 10:15 a.m. and then the small groups join their families in worship at the sharing of the peace.
